Maritime intelligence for freight forwarders.
NauticGrid aggregates disruption signals across 14 maritime news sources, IMF satellite AIS data, and global commodity prices — then surfaces what matters in a live dashboard and a daily email brief. No login. No paywall. No noise.
The problem
Freight forwarders operate across a dozen tabs — port authority sites, Splash247, gCaptain, Lloyd's List, their TMS — manually assembling a picture of what's disrupted and what it means for their lanes. That takes 30–45 minutes every morning before they can confidently quote a client.
NauticGrid cuts that to under 2 minutes. The dashboard is live. The brief arrives before the market opens. The AI rates severity and surfaces operational actions — not just headlines.
Data sources
Every data source in Stage 1 is free. No paid APIs, no data licensing fees.
AIS satellite vessel counts through Hormuz, Suez, Bab el-Mandeb, and Cape of Good Hope. Published weekly by the IMF and Oxford University.
Baltic Dry Index (BDI), WTI Crude, and Brent Crude prices updated hourly. The BDI is the canonical benchmark for global bulk shipping costs.
gCaptain, Maritime Executive, Splash247, The Loadstar, Ship & Bunker, MarineLink, TradeWinds, Seatrade, Lloyd's List, Port Technology, BIMCO, ICS, IMO, Hellenic Shipping News.
Each ingested article is summarized, severity-rated (CRITICAL → LOW), geotagged, and port-tagged automatically. The daily email subject line is AI-written.
Transactional and broadcast email for the daily brief. Audience management, unsubscribe handling, and domain-verified sending from brief@nauticgrid.xyz.
